Team: Daniel Adams, James Armour, Max Atkinson, Tom Madgwick, Jack Mansfield, Reuben Murphy, James O’Connell, Louis Trump and Savannah Bailey.
1st Quarter 7-4 to Exeter.
A strong start to the game from Exeter with Reuben scoring a try within the first minute. The whole team worked as a team using the space with amazing footwork from James O and Tom. Tom got a Try followed by Okehampton scoring a Try. Okehampton stepped up their defence and had a good side making some big tackles. Reuben got another two trys followed by Okehampton getting a try. ... Read More
Firstly I'd like to say how brilliant the whole team were today on Silent sideline meaning the team made their own decisions. We had two games going at once so we we had a smaller side.
Team: Louis Trump, Reuben Murphy, Tom Madgwick, Aston Turton, Max Atkinson.

An impressive start to the game with a Try within minutes from Reuben. There were some impressive tackles from Tom & Aston. Brixham’s defence was strong but with the help of the whole team Reuben got another try.

Once again, with Paul Hargreaves away on his coaching course, this is a very basic match report, there was so much going on today on the pitch it was hard to keep up! I'd like to say it was lovely to see Harrison B back to training this morning after a nasty injury, it was good to see you Harrison!

Early top of the table clash for the Colts on Saturday as they welcomed league leaders Exmouth to Bravelands.
Exeter, who have not been the greatest of starters this season, flew out the blocks with a determination and passion yet to be seen this year.
Exeter had a lot of early pressure and were able to retain a lot of ball, but unable to break the resolute Exmouth defence. Lots of good forward work was wasted by some inaccurate passing in the backs who created the space, but the important pass was not good enough for ... Read More

It was a perfect morning at Bravelands, with blue skies, soft but firm ground with a lush covering of grass, and a clearly marked out pitch... oh hang on a minute... someone had mown off the markings... ;-)
Oh well back to coning the lines out for the minute... LOL At least we had some fab new poles to mark out the try ... Read More
It was “Silent Sunday” at Oil Mill Lane, a peaceful day featuring parents and coaches desperately trying to keep quiet. Exeter started well, Captain Levi Richards making a long run into opposition territory. With their first attack it seemed Brixham must score but Craig Marriott made a vital tackle and Harrison Greenslade kicked the ball away to safety. Levi made another good run and offloaded to Hazam Badram, when he was stopped Noah Williams got the ball away quickly but the move ended in a knock on.
Exeter caught and drove from a line out and when the ... Read More
Winter felt like it was on its way this Sunday at Oil Mill Lane and the cold start clearly slowed us down. A dropped pass and Sidmouth were in for the first try. The first scrum is always so important for the forwards to impose themselves and yet again Exeter delivered. It's gutting the rules only allow them to shove them back a meter.
At this stage Julian got a little over enthusiastic running on to the pitch to intercept a pass but his execution wasn't quite up to his enthusiasm. The deliberate knock on and the ... Read More
Today we had a short trip to Exeter Saracens, without Dave Barr as he was recovering from his 40th Birthday celebrations.
The team was Amarni, Jasmine, Micheal, Harry, Dylan, Jensen, Louie, Freddie and Ollie.
Match one 11 - 7 Exeter youth win
This started as a fairly close game, Ollie was 1st over the line for Youth closely followed by 2 tries from Louie.
Saracens were able to come back with their very tall player Albi who was able to side step through our fairly sleepy defence.
Having said that we did ... Read More
As we drove to Oil Mill Lane my recollection of Sidmouth was that they were a big side and they certainly didn't disappoint on that score with four very big players!
The early stages of the game were mainly played in a congested midfield area. Sidmouth's tactics became apparent very early on which was to give the ball to one of their big players and let them try and barge their way through. This tactic nearly led to the first try of the game but for a superb tackle by Finley L who ... Read More
