MATCH REPORTS – U11s v Brixham

Sunday 29th October saw the U11s at home to Brixham. Both teams had 14 players which allowed a good run out for all of the players. As you all know the U10 to U14 will be taking part in “Silent Sideline Sunday” on 29 Oct away at Exeter Youth, and our U7 to U9 will be taking part at Astley Park. It is a fantastic initiative.  You are allowed to clap / applaud!!! You are all asked to “keep talking to a minimum on the side lines. One coach from each team will be given the task to instruct (not during the game) whilst everyone else watches in silence”. The Exeter Foundation Presents Exeter Youth Rugby with a Generous Donation

Committed to benefiting local people and organisations, the Exeter Foundation has generously donated £5,367.36 to us at Exeter Youth Rugby. Describing the impact of donations like these, Cheryl McGauley, Chairperson of Exeter Youth Rugby, stated: “We are so lucky to have an organisation like the Exeter Foundation supporting our work here at Exeter Youth Rugby, and to be one of the 20 charities they support in the area. Due the large amount of rain we have had this week - we are very sad to announce that we have made the decision to postpone our Rugfest event tomorrow (16th September) The pitches are very water logged and with more rain forecast today we have been left with no other choice. We hope to make another date for this event later in the season. We apologise for an inconvenience caused.

Exeter Youth Rugby Launches its 60k Friend Challenge Fundraising Initiative

Exeter Youth Rugby Club kicked-off the rugby season with the launch of their new crowdfunding initiative, the 60k Friend Challenge. Developed to raise funds for a permanent Club House to be built on its grounds at Oil Mill Lane, Exeter Youth Rugby will fully embrace the power of social media to enhance its fundraising efforts.
